1. Soften the wax first
Use olive oil or another softening oil for 3 to 5 days before your appointment.
2. Ear examination
We look into your ear canal with an otoscope and talk you through what we find.
3. Microsuction
Gentle, low-pressure suction removes the wax. It is regarded as the gold standard method.
4. Back to your day
The whole appointment takes no longer than 30 minutes, and many are done in around 15.
